Counseling sessions are by appointment only. We provide office-based, in-home, and in-community sessions. To schedule an appointment, contact us.

Session are usually scheduled for 50-minutes, often on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The frequency of sessions may change because of indications that more or less sessions would better facilitate your goals.

Fees & Insurance

Full fees for a 50-minute session are $75. We also offer sliding-scale reduced-fee sessions in some cases, and pro bono services in a few cases.

We are an in-network provider for several insurance carriers, including Aetna, Cigna, Florida Medicaid, LifeSynch/Humana, Magellan, Universal/CompCare, and others. If you do not have insurance, we can provide you with the documentation required to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier for out-of-network services. Contact your insurance company regarding your coverage benefits and procedures for reimbursement.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of sessions. You are responsible for payment of missed sessions in most circumstances.

There are, however, a few exceptions to this in which we are legally and ethically bound to disclose your identity. These include: Information about the physical or sexual abuse of a child under 18 or of an elderly adult; information about any prior unreported violent crimes; if we believe that you pose an imminent danger to yourself or others; if we are served with a court order for your records or if we are subpoenaed to testify.
